A commission I did a while back for  -jos with their OC Vappy stuck in a bit of a bubbly predicament. They don't seem to mind though, must be a soft bubble. ^^

It was a gorgeous day, and a Vaporeon thought it'd be a great day to play with bubbles his bubbles. Though it wasn't super common, some Vaproreons could train themselves to form strong bubbles with their water powers. This Vaporeon in particular was able to produce more soapy water, and used this ability quite often for his own amusement. With a gentle inhale, the Vaporeon blew a few small bubbles from his mouth, clapping his hands as he watched them gently float around him. Rather than pop or merge upon contact, they would often bump and bounce into each other, wobbling like gentle balloons as they glistened in the sunlight.

The Vaporeon clapped his little paws as the bubbles danced around him, watching them float so gently was simply therapeutic to witness. It was almost like the bubbles were dancing, or like watching fish swim in a pond. But eventually, as all bubbles do, they soon floated off into the sunlit sky, twinkling in the air until they were out of sight.

The Vaporeon simply smiled as he waved the bubbles goodbye, huffing up another deep breath of air as he prepared to make another set of bubbles for himself. However, in his excitement, he huffed a little too quickly, resulting in a hiccup as a large bubble expelled from his lips prematurely. To his surprise, he had blown a bubble much bigger than he intended, growing a little bigger than his head as his startled eyes were reflected on its surface.

Before he could truly appreciate how big it was, he let out another hiccup, causing the bubble to bounce against his face as he let out another gasp into its surface. BLOOP! In a split second, between the bubble pressing against him and the last breath of air he sucked in as a result of his hiccup, the surface tension seem to slip over his lips before swiftly sucking the rest of him inside like a vacuum. Before he even knew what happened, he found himself tightly curled up into the very bubble he had just blown, his face awkwardly squished up against his surface as the hefty but flexible membrane stretched around him.

Embarrassed at his blunder, the Vaporeon blushed as he attempted to break himself out of his makeshift prison, stretching out the membrane slightly as the bubbles seemed to squeak against his paws. The bubble was much tougher than usual, it was like stretching out a balloon. It didn't take long before the bubble bounced back into its mostly spherical shape, forced to tuck his paws back to his sides as the membrane clung and squished against his slippery skin.

Though feeling a bit silly, he was thankful that he was seemingly too heavy for the bubble to carry him into the sky, simply allowing himself to relax as he waited for the bubble to pop on its own.
